The setting inspired the Board Members to take important steps in the development of the CEP’s

Council of Europe starts preparations for recommendation on probation

The European Committee on Crime Problems of the Council of Europe, has commissioned one of its committees to make an overview of the practices and fields of action of the probation services in the 47 member countries. The research will be conducted

 

by the Council for Penological Co-operation, chaired by Sonja Snacken, Professor in Criminology at the University of Brussels. "Two experts have now just started their work. Their research will be the basis for the recommendation on Probation." Read more >>
